LOCR Producer: Chakan – The forever man was an interesting one. Fun, stylish, great gameplay but it had one major flaw… the difficulty. Bruiser didn’t tell Death this, but he was cheating that entire time, and he still lost the bet.

Chakan was noteworthy for bringing some darker tones to a very youth orientated market and for that reason, I think it’s a fantastic platformer. It really works to set up the atmosphere early, the enemies are imaginative, there’s different weapons and potion combos and you’re given the choice to start in whichever dimension you want.

It’s not a small game either, I decided to split this review across two videos just to give me time to look through all the content and edit it together. Incredible bang for buck, amazing game, but it will frustrate you and you’ll never finish it (unless you’re a good cheat or a flawless perfectionist video game player).
