Terrible Boxart – Brutal Sports Football (Atari Jaguar)
A response video to the Happy Console Gamer
So the Happy console gamer was asking for response videos on terrible videogame box art. Obviously there are plenty of systems notorious for bad box art, like the Sega Master System. But the Atari Jaguar, for all its faults and failings, actually, has some really cool, consistent box art.
Brutal Sports is a game I’ve wanted to get my hands on for a long time. We don’t get many good multiplayer games and outside of the much more expensive NBA Jam TE, I’d argue Brutal Sports Football is the best sports game available on the Jaguar.
That’s what shocked me about this box art, we’ve got violence and sports, this game was already released on the Amiga with decent artwork, even in-game has some pretty good art assets, why did they decide to do this to the box art for the Jaguar!?
